David Moyesy is reportedly ready to make a bid for Sporting Lisbon's Adrien Silva (Hi Ho to his mates).
Silva is of dual nationality, born in France but opted to follow his Portuguese father when it came to his national allegiance. The 22 year old midfielder has been out on loan since 2010 with Maccabi Haifa and Academica, he has scored 5 goals in 18 games this season.
Even though Moyesy has the proceeds of the Billy sale burning a hole in his arse pocket he will be looking for a loan deal.

I've never seen the lad play but if he's a creative player then good get him and I think Moyes is right to try the loan deals first because if they really want to play then stay on we are OK with that! If they don't like it then sound, byeeee. then we're not lumped with some talentless or lazy tosser happy to pick their wages up and not care otherwise. Irvine back in as Moyes' No 2!

yes we need a striker but not maynard he is an average championship player at best we have enough crap strikers as it is

Maynard, Rodallega, Jelavic, even Owen will do....just a striker is all we need, why are we being linked with midfielder after midfielder!! SO frustrating!!! We have the Billy money, Arteta money, Vaughan money, Piennar money, Yak money, Beckford money!! Alright we're skint but we're also an embarrassment this season!! A new striker is a must!!

Makes you feel proud to be a toffee with all these BIG NAMES being link with us! i know we are skint but i cant help but feel that loan signings are not the answer,as in most cases they couldnt give a f**k about the club and just use us as a shop window to sign elsewhere come Davey use that money and get in Maynard or Rhodes if they dont work out we could still sell them back to a Championship club and make some of the money back. COYB
