King Louis Off To Spurs?
Bookmark and Share

Have summa this!

Our snout was having a Batchelor's Cuppasoup (it's freezin' out there) when he told Jogger that King Louis could be on his way to Spurs in a swap deal bringing Roman Pavlyuchenko (Pav to his mates) to Goodison!!

Spurs think the 'King' has had his best season for years as he has started 16 games! You can tell Hawwy Wedknapp is tied up in court at the moment. Could Harry work his magic on Louis and could Spurs flop Pav hack it at Goodison?

Spurs are desperate to offload the Russian, who was involved in a furious training ground bust-up with Hawwy's No 2 Kevin Bond, but need to bring in a direct replacement should he leave. Bond overheard Pav saying Hawwy was bringing charges against Mancini for waving imaginary Tax Forms!

Pav is yet to start a match in the top flight and has recently been the subject of a £6.5m bid from Lokomotiv Moscow. Tottenham have also offered him to Newcastle and QPR.

The Russian has scored 42 times in 114 appearances since joining the Lahndoners.

Watch this space.

Rick, what have u been smoking mate?! a) who on earth would value Saha at 7m? b) Helgusson? Are u messin? He's a slow fat whopper who sticks his head in but has zero football skills. c) doubt we would look to bring in an extra player as that would increase our wage bill that is currently stretched. I agree that Redknapp is just a kn0b jockey who poaches all decent players and lets them rot in his reserves, then doesn't sell any of them when they wana leave! He must be on a mission to have the worlds biggest squad list. Personally I'd take Pav on loan see how he gets on. Can't realistically now see us getting anyone else worth getting excited about.

If this is true I will give Saha a piggy back there, the man is useless, and for all those fans who slagged of the Yak for being lazy like Saha, at least he still scores goals....

If this one happens and Pavlyuchenko comes as part of the deal, I think this would be good for us. Okay so he's now 30 but I think he might have a few good years left in him and think he could do better than Saha. Okay he hasn't scored for a bit, but that doesn't mean to say that he can't find his goalscoring form again, if Moyes can bring the best out of him. And also better than Saha, he doesn't have lengthy injury issues!

phil from wirral are you drunk? we dont need yet another cb, especially once we get manolas and everyone comes back from injury. this season we have struggled for goals so a striker or creative mid is what we need! either pav/pienaar/krancjaer!

Let's play hardball with Spurs and other teams like they do with us so often! Let's say to Spurs and Hawwy: Ok you are interested in Saha, 7m pricetag, either 4m + Pienaar or you want to get rid of Pav but we don't want him, we want Pienaar so you can have Saha in a swap for both of those players...Spurs offload some of their wage bill and we get 2 players to replace one, one we would all love to see back and one we can give a chance to and see how he goes as he is a good scorer. ...Alternatively I know it wouldn't be a very popular idea with many of you but how about if we do sell Saha try and get Helgusson for 3m from QPR as he has done well this season and they are signing Cisse and trying for Zamora!?...

It looks like a loan deal not a swap deal but i pray to the gods its true,Saha is nothing short of a disgrace.

saha head and shoulders better than anyone else we have. Need to realise we are a team that cant create chances. Louis still has loads to offer and will score for fun if he goes to spurs.

Would love to see the back of Saha his attitude is not good enough to stay at the club his time has come to move on. Would like to see Pav at Everton as he is a goalscorer and we would give him the chance to have a good run of games. Pleased that Moyes is finally trying to sign forwards however not keen on Jelavic!

On SSN they mentioned that Saha might be leaving for Spurs on loan, they never mentioned a swap deal. It was said thet if Pav leaves Spurs then there would be a void in the team to fill and that they would take Saha on loan to fill it. Just Redknap trying his best to weaken our team even more like he did with pienaar and tried to do when he wanted Neville. it's obvious what he is up to the floppy jaloppy.

Is that goalscoring record correct? because if it is, get him here now. Considering probably only half of them are starts and the stick he gets at spurs, that record is more than impressive.

If it meant getting rid of saha I'd swim accross the atlantic and pack his bags for him. Not sure i care to have pav tho, hes a decent finisher but never seems to have adapted to the speed of play. We need a forward with a touch of pace.

Heard its pienaar not pav, would be so happy if we got some creativity and a finisher in one day

Your all forgetting he tried to sign Phil Neville last season and actually put a firm offer down, mores the pity that fell through. So there really could be some truth in this. Pray to god he goes, he is awful and always has been except 2 or 3 stand out games. That Blackpool game he scored 4 being the most memorable. Thanks for the memories Louis but time to go.

Short memory. Fair enough he's had a poor season, but when he was on form for us, he was quality, and fully deserved of the King tag! I'll bid him fond farewell. Would rather Nuts back, but I reckon Saha will be sold outright to recoup some of the money for Jelly.

I would rather they swapped Pienaar than Pav. If there is any substance to this can we presume Moyes maybe considering playing two strikers?
