We were carefully walking along Goodison Road this morning, treading carefully, when we bumped into our snout who reckons that Moyesy has made an enquiry about Sunderland's Kieran Richardson (Richo to his mates).
The 27-year-old, who has 12 months left on his present contract, is expected to leave the club this summer after intimating to Mad Martin O'Neill he would not be extending his deal.
Apparently, Big Sam is interested in taking him to de 'ammers and QPR, Fulham and Reading are interested too. He has never been so popular!
West Ham, where Richardson played as a schoolboy, seem favourites but Moyesy can be persuasive.
Is Richo worth a punt as a replacement for Jimmy Mac?

I'd rather tempt Olivier Bernard out of retirement than this fool. He's only good for having a Lionel Richie muzzy and that ain't even that good!!!

If we lose Baines to the Manky Manks for 15m and buy Richardson for about 8m and secure the rest for Pnuts then I'd begrudgingly take it! Begrudgingly!

I seem to be alone on this one, but I've always quite liked him - versatile, pacy, has a decent shot on him too. I'd take a punt on him as a squad player if the price is right.

If this happens then it could mean baines is on his way, he could become the new left back as we dont have any back up. He has played left back a few times this season.

no thanks, Would prefer Pienarr and possibly dempsey purely because him and Fellani would be a great partnership.

If there is anything in this I suspect it might be as a replacement for Baines if the vultures start circling.

He's a LB by trade and was pushed up to LW due to his pace. A bit like Bale has been a Spurs. Bearing in mind Baines has been linked with a move to United, DM maybe looking for a LB replacement. Worth a gamble I think.

Agree with most of you but since he found God the ego thing is non existant, wish a few other footballers had his "new" attitude.

The guy is an ego on legs. Scores the occasional stunning goal but will not improve our squad. Let the Hammers have him.
