Landon Back Sooner Than Expected
Bookmark and Share

I think every Evertonian would welcome back Landon Donovan for a third time. Well we may get him quicker than January this time around.

If LA Galaxy don't make the play-offs he could be available as early as November.

Good news if it happens. Landon is a proper player and a jolly good chap. He is another who fits in with the Everton way. Just like Peanuts

Can't we just sign him full time? Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Bluekipper your fish scoring system is way off the mark not particularly this one it's about summer signings but I think you hand out too many fishes for certain players. Your 4 for lukaku is ridiculous that's a 80% chance of him coming to us. What is this based on? Bluekippers views or Chinese whispers?

I would love to see Landon back again and hopefully a bit of a longer stint could result in some form of permanent deal being drawn up for him, even if only for a season or 2! He had an interview the other week that seems to suggest that he is nearer to retirement than anyone would have expected, talking about how he needs to see what his enjoyment levels are still like at the end of his Galaxy contract and how he really enjoys coaching the young kids and the rewards from that and stuff...if we can get him snapped up it might renew his enjoyment levels at a more competitive league that isn't overrun with the "Beckham" hype, and then maybe even get him to help coaching in the academy? Would surely be great all around for the club!?

Landon-great player but tired of these temporary fixes and it stops us from getting the position, right handside midfield sorted permanently. Landon can come but on a proper longterm contract please, time for the parties concernd to come to some proper agreement then as a team we can move forward ! !

Just wish we could buy him on a permanent basis, he is class and just what Everton needs. Be great to see him back "USA, USA, USA".

There'll be no argument from many Evertonians I'm pretty sure of that! whether it happens though is another thing but the sooner and longer we can have him for the better, I'm sure there's a place in the 25 man squad unless BK decides to find some serious cash from somewhere?!

The sooner the better, but not just on loan, get the lad signed up permanently - you know it makes sense because he wants to.

But he won't be able to play till the transfer window opens in January will he?
