Naismith Happy To Sign For Everton
Bookmark and Share

Steven Naismith has signed a 4 year deal for Everton. After plenty of reports and rumours the Scottish International has signed on free transfer. Naisy should join the rest of the Everton squad when they return to pre-season training this week.

Naisy said: "It is a great honour to be joining a club of Everton's wonderful history and to have the chance to play with such a talented group of players in the world's best league: the Barclays Premier League, in front of such a passionate group of fans.

"I look forward greatly to working with the manager David Moyes and all the staff at Everton and working hard to deliver on the pitch to repay their, and the chairman Mr Kenwright's, faith and belief in me.

What do you think?

Well hes certainly making all the right noises! He has played with jelavic at rangers,he knows davie weir from rangers and he will pull defenders all over the park leaving gaps for jelavic fellaini etc to exploit. Welcome Steven.Just give us 100% when you play and we will love you forever.

Nice to see an early signing for the blues.Remember a certain defender signed from Wolves with past knee problems that only the blues would take a chance on.Hope this is another Moyes diamond.Welcome Steven.

I think the fans are going to love this boy. I think he may start off on the right, but can play, left, centre and behind the striker, must be a dream..... for Moyes. The best part is that he works hard and will pull defenders all over the place and make alot of space for Jelavic and Fellaini if played in his forward role. Also he can finish is his own right and i am sure he will weigh in with some needed goals.

to be honest, i think he's just below the standard of player we should be signing at the moment, but i'd be happy to be proven wrong. If he can resume his partnership with Jellyfish, well, on a free transfer, its a no-brainer innit?

Great news, things are moving early this year. Just hope AVB doesn't persuade SP to stay at Spurs and we could be off to a flyer this season.

Free Transfer and a no brainer. Will improve the squad. Rumour is that Hugo Rodellga is in talks with us regarding a free transfer will add quality to the squad and not cost us a penny in transfer fees.

Great to have our second signing from poor old Rangers. Makes up for them nicking the cream of our 80's squad after Heysel! Now for Peanuts and Everton's no.9 Donovan... Let's try to hang on to Felli & Bainsey for a top 4 finish!! COYB!!

No surprise this, we just had to wait and do things in the correct manner. Great signing for us i think, just remember he may need a little time, very bad injury and adjusting to a new set up and of course the Prem, then we will have a real player on our hands. Welcome Nace the Ace, and good look

its a win win for us, we get him on a free and if it don't work out he will have a sell on value, nice to have another forward who can score goals, hopeful this is the first of 2-3 signing and the big to stay. IMWT
