Peanuts To Sign In The Summer, Hopefully
Bookmark and Share

We are all going to have to waiting until the summer before we know if Steven Pienaar will become an Everton player on a permanent basis.

He has been on the top of his game since he came back from Spurs on loan in January and David Moyes will be desperate to sign the South African playmaker.

One thing in Everton's favour is Peanuts will want to sign for us and he seems content with things at Everton.

He had a big say in all the good things yesterday against Fulham and he even had time to show Felli a few dance moves.

David Moyes said: "I genuinely don't think anything will be even talked about until after the end of the season."

Peanuts said: It is always good if you have a hand in the goals. The build up to the fourth goal was fantastic and to be involved was a good feeling.

"The last game we played here at Goodison we won 4-0 and it was the same today again, and last week we scored four goals. The guys are getting the form in front of goal and that's important especially over the last few games because we have to entertain the supporters."

Richy (comment 14) hope you're right mate! But if such a deal was made without the use of a pen and paper then sorry but Shnorebits will develop amnesia on the matter and with good reason! If on the other hand we have to pay up the full amount then I dare say too many would complain as we are that much better with him!

I was sceptical when he returned back in January but I have to admit he is playing like a player who is enjoying his football again and who knows where he belongs. Sometimes you have to loose your way in life to find the direction you were heading in was the right way all along and Pienaar realises this. Please please please Everton make it happen!!!!

A cert to sign, he will not make the mistake of going somewhere else as he will be back to square one. Also Awwy can say this, ask for that from us, but if the player wants to come Everton and leave Spurs then theres nothing the host club can do, history has shown this time and time again, you cant keep an unhappy player

I was told this was already in the bag when he signed for us on loan! The deal was the £2 million they bought him for and Saha had to go to Spurs on a FREE! Unless Harry is going to break yet another deal, his word means nothing once again.

Going to be tricky now if "floppy chops" is actually going to stay at spurs. He definitely will make things difficult because he doesn't want us passing out spurs in the league table next year. I agree with Scowie, the only reason Pienaar was bought by them was to spoil our team.

He is an absolute must, without stating the obvious he makes us tick in so many ways, Bainesy and Pienaar Combo is the best in the league without doubt and he would be within budget. Even when Arteta was here i personally felt he was the creative spark (although our tater is still a god in my eyes too)

Why do you think Hawwy bought Peanuts in the first place. Not because he wanted to play him in their team but to break up the Bainsey partnership that would have seen us challenge them for a top 4 spot this season.

The team are looking really good once again - what a pity it always seems to come too late for anything really good to happen! Hopefully with a striker who actually scores goals now in our team we can get off to a good start next season and please please treat the cups with respect - they are realistically our only way of getting a trophy! Put our best side out for both the FA cup AND league cup and get this monkey off our backs

I hope he comes but I don't think he will. I don't think we can afford the fee or his wages.

Come on Everton please make this happen. The differance he has made to the team since he came back is unbelivable he knows his role in this side well. So please sign him up
