Matt Could Be The Man
Bookmark and Share

David Moyes will be on the search for a bargain from the Championship and he may be hoping that Blackpool get beat against West Ham next weekend. That will give him the chance to make a bid for winger Matt Philips.

Still only 21, Matty (to his mates) has scored 11 times in a productive season for the Seasiders and a bid of £2m could secure his services.

I think we should look to offload Coleman this summer, lets hope Blackpool get promoted so they come in for him. £3M would be good business considering we only paid £50K. And it would go a long way to securing Pienaar.

He's ace on footy manager '11. Bought him for Roma and he developed into one of the best right wingers in the world. Means naff all, obviously. Still, might be worth a punt for c.£2m. He's better than Seamus as a right winger already IMO (soz Seamus, I'm sure you'll be a cracking right back one day!)

Offer Seamus Coleman and Holloway might be tempted.

They wont sell him for 2 mill. 4-5 minimum- everyone knows how good this kid is, not just us.

Havent seen the lad play much so can't really comment but for me any cash we get goes first on Pienaar (£4m??) and then on Hoilett (£5m?)! Get Rodallega on a free and we're good to go! Get rid of Vic for a few million and hope Blue Bill manages to find a few quid from somewhere to find the rest! Hopefully none of the big guns come sniffing around our players and we'll have a real chance with Jelavic to bang the goals in and creativity on both wings! If had to get rid of somebody to fund, I would go with Jags! I'll get some grief for saying that but he's had a few bad injuries and probably last year we could get decent money for him! Despite the semi Distin and Jonny been excellent and Duffy will har ha another year of experience! COYB!!

Agree he's worth a shot... but £2 mill is a bit optimistic surely?

Really like this guy , although he operates on the left at present this is to accommodate Ince on theright.Could be the answer to our right side and although maybe a bit more than two mil a more realistic option than Hoillett .

I would definitely take a punt on him he looks like a real hot prospect and has the pace plus skill to trouble any opposition defence

I would definitely take a punt on him he's a very fast player and has the skill to beat defenders.

Good up and coming player, still with plenty to improve on and as come on in leaps and bounds this season after going back to Blackpool from a loan spell at Sheff Utd. Showed glimpses of his ability when he was in the prem with Blackpool when they signed him from Wycombe. Originally a right winger but now plays on the left of a front 3 and occasionally swaps with either Ince or Dobbie dependant on who's playing but he's had a decent season, still young and will get better. If he is valued at £2m (which i doubt!) then he's worth taking a punt on IMO.
