Huth To Goodison?
Bookmark and Share

Amazingly there are rumours that Buzz is heading for the exit door at Goodison Park!

Penned in as a replacement for Sylvain Distin is apparently Robert Huuuuuuuth (known to his mates as Huuuuuuth) who is in his final year of his contract with The Potters.

Reports claim there has been no increase in wages in the new contract offered and that Huth will look to move on unless he is given a pay rise, with Everton said to be in the hunt should he leave.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis says it is crucial they keep hold of the 27-year-old, who has been a pivotal figure at the back since arriving from Middlesbrough, and he will be urging his board to up the package on offer.

Pulis said: 'He's been an integral part of what we've done here and it's important to look after the players.'

Who would you rather have, Buzz or Huuuuuuuth?

Please... Have mercy! I know silly season started but "Berlin Wall" is not good enough to wear Royal Blue shirt. Collecting yellow cards like stamps. No skills, slow, cumbersome. No thanks. Duffy anytime if Buzz retires.

Decent player but would be behind Jags Jonny,Distin and Duffy.

Huth has got another 7-8 years in him. Distin has been great the last 2-3 years, but how much longer? Agree that Duffy will step up but Huth could strengthen the competition for places and he's good for a few goals too.

Talk about the "bruise brothers " Huth and Johnny, Huth would be an excellent signing and become a fave, but i could only see this happening if someone with a decent price on their head, gets shipped out, like Jags, as Moyes could keep Buzz and us the money in more needed areas ?

Distin may be getting on a bit but he still has pleanty of pace, hes strong and covers Baines well when he attacks. Why spend money on Huth when we could just offer Buzz a new contract?

True blue chester are u smokin somethin!! Hugh is a yard dog wouldn't take him on a free!! Never mind johny and him what about javielka!! Jags had a bad season with injury but he is still no 1 centre back at the club!! In fact I'd keep buzz of some no mark stoke center back!!!

what happened to these rumours about Olsson coming in from Blackburn ?? none of these rumours seem to have any weight behind them , we have a strong defence already , lets focus on getting Stevie P and getting a partner for Jelly - these should be our main priorities in my opinion.

Never really rated him, but he's played well this last season or so. I think we have 3 centre backs better than him already though. Unless it was pennies I dont think its worth it.

One thing we all know is that unless your name is Per Kroldrup Moyes will get any defender playing a good role at CB!!

Imagine Huth and Jonny at the back, Strikers would be in for a rough time! To be fair to Huth he does chip in with his fair share of goals and doesnt lose much in the air. So if we played Huth as the ball winner and Jonny as the tidy sweeper I think that could work well
