Linked With Roddy

This has been rumour has been knocking around for some time now. If David Moyes can get Hugo Rodallega on a free to add to our first signing Steven Naismith it will be seen as a great lift to Evertonians.

Roddy never had the best of seasons with Wigan only scoring two goals but he is a top international striker who could be a great success at Everton.

Still only 26 years old with his best years to come.

Come on Roddy you know it makes sense.

Hugo is a top quality player. I would have him any day. He's skillful and fast. Just what we would like to link up with Jellyfish

Where will Moyes play him, if he is not going to displace Jelavic, so he will be back up ? so on the bench. Not sure if he will be a Moyes priority, however on a free hard to turn down, and for sure will be sharpened up and have to work his ass off at Everton, then we could see something, and as mentioned only 26 and with further potential

Yep I'd be happy with this. He had a great season two years ago and he'd obviously be playing with a better team in EFC which could only benefit him. Ask yourself Rodallega or Anichebe up front....exactly, sign him up Moyesey. COYB

Cant see a problem with this me, Rodallega isnt bad at all. Granted he didnt have the best of times at Wigan last season but he's better than what he showed, and better than the likes of Anichebe, Vellios atm and Stracq that as just left. He would certainly keep Jelavic on his toes and add competition. At the Naismith press conference today Moyes was asked about Rodallega and Hoilett by SSN' Vinny O'Connor and he smirked and replied "do you really want me to answer that, you know we dont talk about players from other clubs". When he says things like that instead of outright denying it, you know where seriously interested! Hope something can be done on both fronts.

I'm not really sure about this, I mean he hasn't scored all that many goals for Wigan, during his time there. But then again, if he signed for Everton of which by far is a bigger and better club, then will that make a difference and can he become more of a better goal scorer? If David Moyes thinks he can work with him, bring the best out of his potential and if he thinks he can become a better goal scorer for us than he has been at Wigan, then possibly maybe it might be worth making a move for Hugo Rodallega.
