Rumours that Tim Cahill would be leaving for China was intensified when Tim was spotted at a game between Guizhou Renhe and Guangdong Sunray Cave.

Guizhou Renhe have be open with the possibility of Tim joining them but it looks like he will be staying with Everton.

Very wise Tim. Everton is the place to be

Guizhou coach Goa Hongbo said: "The club actually had negotiations with Tim Cahill, but failed to reach an agreement." he told reporters after Cahill was spotted at Wednesday's Chinese FA Cup clash between Renhe and Guangdong Sunray Cave.

"There were some technical problems, so Mr Cahill visits Guizhou this time. We really hope he could be interested in Guiyang and our club."

Been an absolutley magnificent servant but I think his best days are behind him now and considering what's seemingly in front of him I can't see him getting much game time in the forthcoming season. Still having said all that he's been one of our greatest buys and never gave anything but his all. A great lad and a great player and we all wish him well whatever he decides to do. Oh and he hates Liverpool.

Don't want to see Tim go but if he decides to leave Goodison I know every Evertonian would wish him all the luck in the world. His contribution to the Royal Blue cause has been magnificent.

Love the lad. A True Blue. But he knows himself best and whether he would be up for putting in a proper show, otherwise he would be disappointed himself. Coming off the bench might sound an idea but the lad still wants to play all day. Top legend who got us through some tough patches the last few years.

Ok.....so I may have missed something here but all I keep reading says that Tim failed to agree personal terms. I have heard no mention of them agreeing a fee with Everton yet. He has 2 years left on his contract... What is that all about then?

I beleive Tim is going to have a good, if not great season IF he stays with us (Everton) coming season. It was tough for him last season, but what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I think Cahill will work really hard in pre-season to bounce back - If he stays - and I hope so!!!

Wait on guys, I reckon Tim will be staying put - and he will come on leaps and bounds this coming season, we will be a team to reckon with, and Tim of all people, will recognise this by who Davey is signing/planning to sign. Watch this space.

Tim is a professional in the true sense of the word. He wouldn't be able to deal with the un-professionalism in the Chinese league set up. The same goes for the Saudis. It's fine going to those kind of places if you're a morally decrepit mercenary. As we know, Tim is not one of these type players and therefore I wish him and his family to make the best decision.

If he did go we should try to get him back at a later date to work for the club in a coaching role.

Tim has never given less than 100%, we would miss him, but who would begrudge him one last big payday

Be sad to se him go. He's been a great player for us. Wish him well in whatever he decides.

I wish him well what ever he decides. He has been epic for us for a long time and given us his best years. Thanks Tim! Goodison or elsewhere - We wish you well!

Its only a matter of time before Tim leaves perhaps for one big payday and new challenge. When the time is right for the club and Tim it will happen, good luck to him a great ambassador and servant to the club.

Think he's on his way. I love him, a hero, but not the player he used to be. Would rather play two up top, Jelly with either Naismith or Rodellega if we can get him. And he's not worth £40K as week just to be a bit-part player
