Moyesy To Get Pienaar
Bookmark and Share

David Moyes is confident of getting Steven Pienaar to Everton. And he wants to get him as soon as. That goes for anyone else that we get in. Moyesy believes that it helps us get off to a good start.

We all want that Moyesy.

It is unusual that he speaks about a player openly before he signs. That gives us serious hope that Peanuts will be coming.

David Moyes said: "I don't know if the situation has changed but Steven has made it very clear he wants to come back here and my understanding is that hasn't changed.

"My next job in the coming weeks is to get Steven Pienaar here as well.

"The season we qualified for the Champions League we had people in place early doors so if we could do that again then we would hope we could replicate what we have done before.

"The Premier League has changed in the level of squads and the standard but we will try to start the season better than we have done."

I agree with you Steve B, Birmingham. If one of them gets injured, who goes up front? As you say, Anichebe doesn't fit the bill so do we play with one striker up front or put Cahill or Velios upfront? With regards to Steven Pienarr, he is a player that we cannot do without and we must do everything to bring him back to Everton where he truly belongs! Last season reflected that when we had him here on loan and he was great for us and I think he enjoyed far more being here at Everton than at Tottenham!! His talents would be wasted at Tottenham and I wouldn't want to see that happen!

Even with Naismith and Jelo we need cover - and Anichebe doesnt fit the bill.

Well said Paulie. We only really need to add Pienaar to get that creative spark going because of the way the Royal Blues played second half of the season. Bearing in mind the Cup games we will really upset the top sides and brush aside the questionable ones, winning some silverware and achieving a European finish, possibly CL. We were are that good with Pienaar in the mix AND the rest of the Squad know it so they should want to stick around to be a part of the winning squad of new legends at OUR GREAT CLUB.

Daily Mirror (online) says that both clubs have agreed terms on Nuts to be freeze dried and shipped off to Everton to be roasted! Lets hope he an rekindle his bromance with Baines and the boys!

I'd see cahill leave if we can get a few mill for him, great servant but had lost the edge last season and its getting tougher. Also time for a centre half to cover for heitinga who needs to prove himself still and if baines goes for 15 mill then a left and right back have to come in. If the croat boy comes on a free that with luke and coleman is cover for left but capn phil and hibbo at) isn't champs league ... Pienaar is a good catch and naisey but still need more..

£4 million and no more Yes, Spurs will have skinned us and some of this is Steven's fault Why, oh why, did he leave us for the North London donkeys? Equally, we can sit out until the end of 2012-2013 season and pursue him on a free Loan deal, again?

Pienaar in, Anichebe out, close the doors, let's play footy. There was nothing wrong with our squad in the latter part of last season, there's nothing wrong with it now. Got a fantastic mix of youth, veterans and class.
