Reports this morning say that Everton are after German midfielder Lewis Holtby (Lewwy to his mates) as he has cast doubt on his future at Schalke and has confessed that he dreams of the chance to play in the Premier League.
Lewwy moved to Schalke from Alemannia Aachen in 2009 and has spent time on loan at VfL Bochum and Mainz during his three years at the club.
The 21-year old made 32 starts in all competitions last season for Schalke but, with only one year left on his contract, admitted he could leave the club soon.
Lewwy said: 'I am very happy in Schalke. But I would be lying if I said I will definitely extend my contract.'
'My dream was always the Premier League and someday I will make this step.'
Holtby has been capped twice by Germany. He could have played for England as his father is a Scouser.
Due to his father's influence, Lewwy is a massive Everton fan and could possibly sign for us, how good would that be?
Toffeeman Lewwy said: 'My father was born in England and was an Everton fan since the age of five. He immediately infected me with the Everton virus!'
'Since then I have been Everton fan and have always followed their games.'
Make this one happen Bill.
