Mirallas An Everton Player By Monday
Bookmark and Share

David Moyes has kept stum about the names of players he's after in the transfer window at today's press conference.

However plenty of news outlets are saying Everton have agreed a £6m fee with Olymiakos for 24 year old striker, Kevin Mirallas. The deal should be concluded on Monday after the medical is completed.

Kev (to his mate Marouane) is a Belgium International.

This may allow Sheffield Wednesday to take Tolis on loan, as we reported yesterday.

Snouty the snout was not availble to comment as he's on a stag night in the blob shop in town.

I've just watched some You Tube videos of the lad and dare I say it he reminds me of Christiano Ronaldo. Just cost £60 million less. This could be as good a signing as Peanuts. Bloody hell I'm getting excited now!!!

Hey Doug, no problem mate. I get over-excited during the transfer windows too. Usually we're looking on with envy at all the other clubs spending big cash and we're like little Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate factory, just hoping one day for the golden ticket. This year its seemingly happened and we've found some cash. Not only have we found cash, but we're being linked with plausible and exciting deals, and I for one am too excited for the season to start (for us) especially after the shite started their campaign so well today. @Doug Agreed about transfer fever. Effects us all in different ways. I do think we are moving in the right direction with the transfers so far and hopefully this bodes well for a good season. Would be awesome to get Cahill and Donovan back on short term loans to give us a boost in the new year! COYB

Hope this goes through as Kevin looks class. I really can't understand Doug's point of view. How on earth has he disrespected anyone? He owes Arsenal or us no loyalty whatsoever and is trying to make a big career decision. In the interview I saw on Sky he indicated he would prefer a move to Everton as he thought he stood a better chance of a regular start. To me that sounds like he is making the right kind of decisions. Lets look on the bright side of things!

Once the lad has heard a Goodison reception he'll not entertain playing for any other Prem team! COYB!

Sorry Doug, I Think you jumped in a bit to quick here mate! I just read this on Skype which confirms what Blue kipper is saying...Sky Sports sources understand Kevin Mirallas is to have a medical at Everton this weekend ahead of a £6million move from Olympiakos. Mirallas is also believed to have been the subject of interest from Arsenal but the Belgium international told Sky Sports News earlier in the week that he felt the Toffees would be a better fit. Did you read that Doug? How good that makes me feel you will never know, The lad chose Everton Over Arsenal if in fact he does sign...

Well Rob, when you put it like that then.... Maybe I was overreacting! Granted, I kind a lost it! Not "Rooney lost it" but pretty damn close I know! Promise it won't happen again! Promise! But It's just this Damn Transfer Window! It's driving me mad!...I keep saying to myself, just one more top signing and I promise I'll be good! Just a lil taster to take the edge off and I know I'll be ok! I mean... I can handle it right!? It started way back in January (Squiggly lines, Squiggly lines)And it all started out as a little harmless fun when we signed Jelly and Gibson and Nuts on loan! Naturally I thought that that was it for the next 3 years! (as you do!) But oh no! We went and signed Naismith and Nuts Full time... Then I knew I was developing a habit! The cold sweats! The sleepless nights of will he won't he!? Why won't he sign already? Are they mocking me? I mean Bill Kenright must have known that after drip feeding us on loan after loan, all this would be a shock to the system! Ok Fine!.......I'll get help!

Well said Rob. Let's not get on his back before he's signed. We're in need of a quality player who can play on the right side and this guy could be the business.

To be honest Doug, look at it from his perspective. He's 24, knows little about the PL and Arsenal are rumoured to be interested. It's not disrespectful for him to flirt with them for his signature. Also, the quotation you've quoted has been taken out of context, since the way it comes across in the interview is more tongue-in-cheek. He goes on to say he's delighted that clubs in the PL are looking at him, that he has to speak to his family, and that Everton would probably be the better option for him since he'll play more first team football here. At the end of the day, he won't come if he doesn't want to, and by all accounts he is coming. So stop being so negative and be excited that we're splashing the cash for once, and splashing it on some young and promising players.

The Ego Has Landed! Sorry but This Kev Miralarse hasn't shown much respect to Everton other than he's got a team M8 quote unquote "Maybe Maruane should try to convince me to go to Everton!" ??? Maybe his brain should convince his arse to take a break once in a while! Give us Niang to play upfront with Jelly and Naisy can cover rigt till Landon gets here on a Busman! Happy days!
