Everton target Matt Phillips was left out of the Blackpool squad that travelled to Millwall. Blackpool won the game 2-0 with another Everton's target Tom Ince on the score sheet with a brace.
Matt's exclusion from today's game will certainly heighten the rumours that he will be leaving Blackpool.
Matty, to his mates, has been linked with Everton all summer and maybe the Scottish international could be closing in on a deal with Everton.
Southampton are said to be in the prime position but don't rule out David Moyes making a move.

I don't think we could offer Ross because we'd lose the rights to recall his loan if we needed him, but don't quote me on that. I wouldn't be adverse to asking Vic or Tolos to spend some time beside the seaside because he'd be a really good addition to the side.

SSN said today that Southamton have threw a 6mill bid in! I think he'd be a good signing on the cheap but 6mill is far to much for a risk like him!!

Considering we are supposedly in pole position for Kevin and we are still interested in getting Adam in on loan, would we really need a third right midfielder? Would be very surprised if Moyes was still interested, good player that he is and all!
