I'm a Killie fan. IMO Matthew had to leave Killie to reach his true potential. He would have wasted away at my beloved club, but it's a fact I'm afraid. The SPL is rubbish now and Matt has a great oppertunity with Everton. Everton are one of the few EPL clubs I still respect after the likes of Man City and Chelsea sold their souls. The Killy manager is kicking off about how this move may not be the best for the lads development. Hello, he is at the youth academy that has seen Rooney, Barkley and countless others come through, he will develop just fine under moyes. He also said something about serving an apprenticeship in the SPL rather than the rough rigours of the prem league, he will be in the U21 prem league playing at top stadia on fantastic pitches against good quality opposition from other PL academies - surely better than torn up pitches against players of league one standard that most the SPL outside Glasgow has to offer, who would all just chop the lad down at any given opportunity anyway.

He must be a good prospect after all the fuss made by Kenny Shiels. Moyes showing again he's not just looking for players now but looking to the future of our great club.

Truth be told, I wasn't really all that psyched about Matt's signing (due to the euphoria of our previous signings) till I heard about the Killie manager MR Kenny Shiels moan on and on about Bill's qtr of a mill bodacious bid for the young starlet! How dare he!? How dare he!? LOL! We got Bryan for £2.5 mill and he's Champion's league class! The SPL?...Not so much! But time will tell weather we made the right choice with the Kennedy kid! Love the inset BTW! He looks well chuffed to be in that Royal Blue Jersey! As you do!
