Snouty has been quiet for a couple of weeks, since the closure of the transfer window, so we went looking for him. We found him this morning lying on the floor in a jigger in Nimrod Street, he was still asleep but insisted he was just keeping his ear to the ground!
He tells us that Polish international goalkeeper Artur Boruc (Obama to his mates, gerrit? Boruc Obama) was at Finch Farm yesterday being given the once over by Moyesy.
Free agent Boruc is without a club after leaving Fiorentina. The Poland international has 46 caps and is aged 32, he spent five seasons with Celtic before moving to Italy in 2010.
He is also in Tim Howard's league, he scored once for Legia Warsaw back in 2005.
Sounds feasible with confidence in Jan Mucha waning?
