Everton may still sign Thomas Hitzlsperger, but only if and when he is fit.
David Moyes confirmed that the German international will continue to train with Everton for a second week.
The former West Ham midfielder has been at Finch Farm since the start of last week and he now needs to show his fitness to get a contract.
Moyes said: "It is going to be a while until we are able to make a decision. He is building his fitness. He is enjoying doing the football work and we will step his work up next week but there will be no quick decision on that."

He's a great shooter and he's German, which tells you he is self disciplined. You won't see a German rolling round on the floor like them latin types. Funny how you respect an old enemy for their values isn't it?

Is he any better/worse than Charlie Adam (left footed not quick midfielder)? Is he £5 million cheaper? No brainier if fit, let's have some Hammer Time - cue the music!!!
