Tim Cahil was born in Sydney his Mum is Samoan & his Dad English.

In 1997, Tim asked his parents to allow him to travel to England to play professionally, where he was signed by Millwall on a free transfer from Sydney United and made his debut in May 1998.

Tim played for Millwall in the 2004 FA Cup Final. He made 241 appearances for the London club scoring 58 goals.

In July 2004 Moyesy signed Tim for £2m a steal and a bargain. The Blue Kangaroo is an Australian International and a fan's favourite, he was leading scorer for Everton in 2005 and won the Blue Kipper Star Man annual award.

Tim Left to join New York Red Bulls in July 2012.
