After impressing at Hamburg and for Germany's Under-17's, Shkodran moved to Everton in the summer of 2009.

The 17 year old was much sought after but once he had spoken to Moysie and discovered age is not a barrier at Everton, it was a done deal. Shkodran signes a three-year deal for the blues and although the transfer was a 'free' Everton did have to pay 'FIFA training compensation'.

This season has seen him learning the ropes with the ressies, although he has managed to make the subs bench on a few occassions, and was another one of the youngsters who made debut against BATE Borisov (0-1) in the Europa League game at Goodison in December.
