Bloody Blisters

Workaholic Physio Basil Rathbone has revealed his latest torment with the Everton squad, blisters. Fresh from strains, breaks, ligaments, and calf problems last season, Baz is now blaming the dry period of weather, and players getting used to their new boots for their feet problems. Baz is coping admirably with the problem, aswell as fitting in his detective duties with the Local Constabulary.

Super Sleuth Baz says: "A change in the weather like this and if the grounds are hard, really increases the number of blisters, but we are coping with the situation and it is not too serious. I think we're doing okay. In Austria the grounds were quite soft and the pitch that we played our match in Gamlitz on was soft ground. The training ground has been soft as well and I think we've been as careful as we possibly can to cut down the blisters and injuries like that. At the moment we're doing okay. I think maybe we've been right on it early days and we've tried to get the lads to be more responsible with not putting new boots on, making sure their feet are padded up and stuff like that.
