First Professional Contract

Seventeen year old Lee has signed his first professional contract with Everton until 2008. The England youth International left back has progressed well over the last few seasons and is now getting games for the rezzies.

Lee says: "I'm chuffed to bits. Things have been going pretty well for me and I feel like I am improving a lot this season. I am really enjoying my football at Everton, I love the training and the coaches and everyone here have been really good to me. The reserves is a big step up from the youth team but I am feeling comfortable in the side now and finding it easier to express myself more. Hopefully I can continue to improve if I keep working hard. My long-term goal has to be to challenge for a first-team place." (03/03/06)
