| A Weeks Loan Deal At Bristol City John helped Bristol City all but clinch automatic promotion with a 3-1 win over Carlisle yesterday. He joined City in an emergency one-week loan deal on Friday night, having been given special dispensation with the loan window officially closed. So Everton now only have 2 keepers available for the manure game next Saturday. Dickie Wright or Iain Turner will start as Tim Howard is not able to play due to a clause in his contract preventing him playing against his former club. (22/04/07) Oh the life of a footballer. John Ruddy has been released from his loan spell at Wrexham after their first choice keeper returned to fitness. John who was keen to stay on at the Racecourse played five time for the Second Division strugglers, but reading between the lines Wrexham Boss Brian Carey was not overly fussed on the young keeper. Don't let it get you down John, you have time, Big Nev was a bin man till he has twenty odd. John goes straight into tonight's rezzie game at Man City. Wrexham Boss Brian Carey says: "Ruddy has gone back to Everton as Mike Ingham is going to be fit again and I would just like to thank him for his efforts. Ruddy wanted to stay for another month, but we have decided to send him back. It wasn't a case of Everton calling him back and it wasn't a money issue." (13/03/07) John Ruddy did well to help Wrexham's nine men draw 1-1 with Bury. (11/03/07) John Ruddy was on the wrong end of a 3-1 home defeat against Shrewsbury. Wrexham are now in a relegation battle. (25/02/07) After being recalled from Stockport while on loan John Ruddy finds himself back on loan this time with Wrexham for a month. John Ruddy has been recalled from Stockport as cover for Dickie Wright for this Wednesdays trip to Old Trafford. Tim Howard is ineligible as part of his loan deal from manure, so Dickie has been told to stop all DIY activities and get ready for action. With Iain Turner at Palace, JR has been told to get back to Goodison, and get ready to sit on the bench against top of the League. (27/11/06) John Ruddy is to extend his loan deal to Stockport into a third month. The deal is subject to a 24-hour recall. Goalkeeper Ruddy has made a big impression at Edgeley Park, helping County climb into mid-table safety in League Two. (09/11/06) John Ruddy is to have his loan extended at Stockport County till November 6th. It gives a chance for the young keeper to get some more League action with the 2nd Division Club, as with the arrival of Tim Howard, he finds himself fourth in the pecking order now at Goodison. Jim Gannon Stockport's Boss is delighted at the news, and he is also delighted with what he has seen of John up to now. Good news for the future hopefully. Stockport Boss Jim Gannon says: "I think Everton have been pleased with how it's been going and they're pleased for him to stay for another month. They've got four goalkeepers there and they can see that this has been successful for John because we've conceded two goals in the last four matches." (13/10/06) John was involved in a seven goal thriller for Stockport on his debut. Happily Stockpot beat Wrexham 5-2. (12/09/06) With the rezzies not in action again until October, Moyesy has shipped John out on a months loan to Stockport County. He couls play up to 6 games in that time. John says: “This year I am more settled here and I would look forward to going on loan anywhere if the gaffer sees it as a good opportunity. “Going on loan is most definitely something that can benefit you. As long as the football is a good standard and you are getting games every week, it is good for any player." (12/09/06) |
