Killa joined Wigan for an undisclosed fee, believed to be just short of £1m. Zinedine played 131 games for Everton scoring 5 goals.

Zinedine Kilbane says: "I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone at Everton. I've had great support from everyone there and there's always a bit of you that's sad to say goodbye when you leave such a great club. But I'm a Wigan player now and I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead."

Moyesy says: "We received a fair offer for Kevin and he thought at this present time it would be right for him. He will be a big loss to the team and in the dressing room but we wish him well at Wigan." (31/08/06)

Sent Off

Killa went straight to the top of the Bad Boys League after being sent off at Spurs in the first half. He will be suspended until the Wigan game at home on 15th September. (27/08/06)
