Goals from Nick Chadwick, & Kevin McLeod gave Everton the share of the spoils. Andy Holden again made no substitutions, giving the senior members of the squad a full 90 minutes.

Gerrard: Average game. no chance with the goals. Still doesn't inspire confidence.
Watson: A full 90 minutes. Just easing his way back.
Feng: Fantastic determination. Great attitude.
Pilkington: Steady game.
Pistone: Another 90 minutes for Sandro. Still needs more games.
Schumacher: Good game.
Carney: The Aussie crossed for the second goal. Full of running.
Gemmill: Did well. Some cute passes from midfield.
McLeod: Influential when he's got the ball. Scored a great header.
Chadwick: Lead the line well. Scored one. Could have got 3.
Moore: Joe-Max was full of running.
