He made some top saves but could do nothing when Brian Moogan nodded into Wrighty's net. Bad news just after 80 minutes when Davey Weir was sent off after a scuffle with that Italian he man Amoruso. (09/03/04) Everton will field a very strong line up for tonights game against Blackburn. There will a few of the lads hoping that a good performance may give them a chance of a first team squad call up. David Moyes is using the game to give Davey Weir and Richard Wright valuable match practise but thinks a Saturday recall will be too early. David Moyes says:"Wednesday will be an opportunity to give them another game. Both of them are now getting a lot closer to full fitness but are lacking in match practice. I think they will need a bit longer and we won't shove them into match action before I think they are ready. Then it will be a hard task to get back into the team but competition is something that we want here at Everton."
