A second half thirty yard screamer from Laurence Wilson sealed all three points for the rezzies at Bolton last night. The game however was overshadowed by injuries to Li Tie, who was taken to hospital, as was Christian Seargant who took a heavy blow to his ankle.

A Bolton side which contained Henrik Pedersen could not break down Andy Holden's youngsters, as they hung onto their one goal cushion. Iain Turner was called upon several times, most notably halfway through the second half when he saved superbly from Bolton's Buval.

Andy Holden will be delighted with back to back wins, but unfortunately the headlines will be for Li Tie's injury. The player may now have to miss FIFA's Benefit Match for the Tsunami victims, in the Nou Camp next month. (26/01/05)

Li Tie makes his long awaited return to action tonight, as he steps out for Everton reserves against Bolton, at Leyland Motors Ground. it has been a year since Li broke his leg, and it is sure to give Moyesy a boost to his first team plans. Also in the starting line up is FA Cup goalscorer Nick Chadwick, and Moyesy is sure to be casting an eye over him with this weeekends Cup clash against Sunderland nearly here.

Andy Holdens men go in search of a second straight win, after turning over Boro' a fortnight ago. Moyesy is sure to be there casting an eye over Chaddy and Li .

Moyesy says: "It is still very early for Tie. He's had a calf strain to overcome in recent weeks as well as the long term injury but maybe in a month's time we can think about involving him. If we can get him back the way he was during his first season with us there is no doubt he would be a valuable addition to the squad for the run-in.

As everyone knows, midfield is an area where we are a little light in numbers and Tie could help remedy that." (25/01/05)
