Everton: Wright, Wynne, Fox Hughes, Clarke, Vidarrson, Vaughan, Wilson, Chadwick, Gerrard, Seargant Subs: Harris (Wilson 57), Anichebe ( Seargant 72), Gallagher, Wright, Kearney. Andy Holden rezzies went down to their first defeat of the season when a Shola Amoebi mis hit effort found the back of Wrighty's net. The goal came late on in the game, but the Skunks were good value for the points. Everton's closest effort came when Chaddy hit the post shortly after the re start. Newcastle shoud have scored again in the dying minutes when Ameobi (sounds like a disease), hit the post himself. (02/09/04) Everton take a very inexperienced Reserve team up to face the skunks second string in the North East this evening. Andy Holden's team will try and build on two goalless draws in their first two games. Dickie Wright, Clarkey and Chaddy will be the only first teamers on show, whilst Icelandic Bjarni Vidarsson should make his rezzie debut. (01/09/04) Everton from: Wright, Wynne, Fox, Clarke, Hughes, Vidarsson, Vaughan, Wilson, Chadwick, Gerrard, Seargeant, Anichebe, Gallagher, Wright, Harris, Kearney, Holt.
