Everton: Turner, Wynne, Wilson, Hughes, Boyle, Harris, Seargeant, Carsley, Anichebe, Li Tie, Naysmith.

Scorer: Naysmith

Harry Hill came through ninety unscathed minutes last night, as another returning old boy Gary Naysmith grabbed the winner, as the Blues were held to a draw by Bolton in Southport last night. It was Harry Hill's class though that shone through, as he controlled the midfield, and was unlucky not to get on the score sheet himself when his curling shot from distance went inches wide.

A watching Moyesy will have been delighted that the Irish midfielder was involved as he was. However it was Nace who grabbed the opener when his deft header from a Carsley cross gave Everton the lead in the 24th minute. It was not until the second period that Bolton grabbed a deserved equaliser, but Andy Holden will not have been best pleased with the Blues defending, as Ellis found himself unmarked at the far post to nod home the levelling goal. Andy Holden would have been furious, but Moyesy satisfied, that two of his first teamers, are well on the way back to full fitness.

Great news for all Blues fans in the form of Lee Carsleys return to action this evening, as the rezzies entertain Bolton at Southport. Moyesy no doubt will be on the Coast to see how Harry Hill's footballing return goes, after the midfielder injured his knee in pre season. As a consequence Lee has been unable to play since. Cars was without doubt one of the star performers in the 2004/05 Campaign, and his reapperance will be a welcome sight for Everton's beleagured fans. Lee however is unlikely to last the full ninety, as Moyesy orders Andy Holden to go softly softly with his hirsute midfielder.

With Nace carryinmg on his recuperatuion, and Li Tie available, the rezzies will have some first team experience to call on.

Moyesy says: "Lee coming back is a big boost. He has been training with us for about five or six days now and he will play some part. Hopefully that will get them in and around the squad in the coming months. We have lacked a bit of competition in key positions. But in general, the midfield players have done very well. It has probably been our strongest area.If we can get Gary and Lee back, that will give us a little more."

Everton from: Turner, Wynne, Wilson, Hughes, Boyle, Harris, Seargeant, Carsley, Anichebe, Li Tie, Naysmith. S.Wright, Jones, Vidarsson, Downes, Molyneux, Holt.
