Everton:
Ruddy,
Wynne, Wilson, Wright, Hughes, Harris,
Phelan Bench: Downs (Hopkins 46), Lake, Holt, Vidarrson, Boyle Scorers: Everton's second string followed the big boys, with a 2-0 reverse on their travels last night. Andy Holden had to make do with the youngsters, as Moyesy held back on giving any first teamer's a run out, with our injury crisis of late. Everton held their own, until the 35th minute, when they then fell behind to some quick thinking from Daniel Graham. Boro' doubled their advantage five minutes later through Johnson. Sounds familiar. Everton like the first team, had a pop at the opposition in the second half, but by then the game was beyond them. Efforts form Anichebe, Wilson and Kearney were dealt with comfortably by Knight in the Boro goal. (21/09/05) |
