Everton:
Wright,
Wynne Bench: Downs (Hopkins 74), Jones, Holt, Molyneux, Irvine. A familiar ring to these match reports be it the big boys or the rezzies, in that we lost again. A committed performance by Andy Holden's lads in the pissing rain was not enough as two second half goals gave the visitors maximum points. Dickie Wright was the only first teamer on duty, and I bet he would have rather been at home with a cuppa, than turning out on an awful evening. Everton had chances in the form of John Paul Kissock, and Victor Anichebe, and by half time were the better side. Brum could boast David Dunn in their starting eleven, but he did not come out for the second period, and goals through Kilkenny and Alsop turned the tide in favour of the Midlanders. (12/10/05)

A strong vinderloo from the chippy last night has given PK a dodgy stomach and he's out of the reserve game tonight. Also out is Biffa Beattie, who is still feeling his calf and won't be risked. So
Andy Holden will pick from a young squad. Mark
Hughes will be skipper and 16-year-old John Paul Kissock will start.
