Everton went down badly last night to a United side that included John O'Shea, and Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer in its ranks. Everton though had their own International experience on the pitch in the form of Cars, and Nace, but it was Italian wonder kid Guissepe Rossi who stole the show with a brace of goals to kill off the Blues.

Moyesy was on hand to see a few of his first teamer's perform, and he was their to witness the leaders of the rezzie League take Everton apart in the second period. Already leading 1-0 from a forgettable first half, United went three up before the Blues replied through Paul Hopkins. United rallied to make the difference three again, and in truth the score line could have been worse, but thanks to John Ruddy, he at least kept the score respectable.

Harry Hill was took off on the hour mark, Nace came through the full ninety, so at least Moyesy will have left Haig Avenue in the knowledge that he has a few more options for Saturdays trip to Newcastle.(22/02/06)

Everton entertain manure at Southport tonight with Harry Hill hoping to get through most of the game unscathed as he picks up his fitness in time for Saturday's trip to the Skunks. It looks like Moyesy will be bringing another keeper for the first team, as he has give the ok for John Ruddy to play tonight as well.

Nace, who was yesterday called up for his country will step in tonight as he increases his fitness levels, so Andy Holden will have quite a bit of experience at his disposal tonight. (21/02/06)

Everton from: Ruddy, Wynne, Naysmith, S.Wright, Kearney, Harris, Seargeant, Carsley, Vidarsson, Hopkins, Kissock Phelan, Ingason, Irving, Morrison, Molyneux
