Ruddy,
Densmore, Kearney Bench: Downes (Van der Meyde), Harpur, Jones, Spencer, Elder Scorers: Agard Everton suffered their second defeat the manure in under a week as they went down 2-1 in Widnes last night. Keiran Agard did give Everton the opening goal of the game when he headed home from close range. It gave Andy Holden's youngsters a well deserved first half lead, but it only lasted till the first minute of the second period when Cathcart leveled for the visitors. United took the lead through Hewson with fifteen minutes left on the clock, as John Ruddy became the busier of the two keepers. Andy van lasted till the 75th minute but did not set the world alight in a quiet performance. Manure held on to secure back to back wins against the Blues in just under a week. PRE MATCH Shandy is given the chance to prove his fitness again tonight as an under strength reserve side take on Man United's second string, hoping to avenge their 1-0 defeat of just under a week ago. John Ruddy will be in for a busy night as he takes over from Dickie Wright for the 7pm kick off at the Halton Stadium in Widnes. Everton
