New boy Dan Gosling made his Everton debut as the Reserves played out a nil nil draw with Middlesboro' in Widnes last night. The new boy nearly opened his Everton account after one minute but his volley from the edge of the box narrowly flew over the bar. It was all Everton with Jack Rodwell and Aidan Downes going close, but the Blues will be happy with their point against a Boro' side who sit two points above them.
