WHAT DO YOU THINK? e-mail info@bluekipper.com The
changes have been implemented based on the results of a series of consultations
with fan groups and the findings of an online survey. The main focus
of the new pricing structure is the two week price freeze on season
ticket renewals, but there has also been an increased focus on ensuring
the Club’s young fans can still afford to support the Toffees. General sale on all season tickets will commence from 8th May 2006, with season ticket holders then having until 10th June 2006 to buy in order to guarantee the same seat next term. Current Season Ticket Holders will receive their renewal letter in the post from 18th April 2006 onwards. Everton CEO Keith Wyness says: "We have based our 2006/07 prices on research completed with a number of current season ticket holders through an in-depth survey online and also through a series of focus groups. Through those discussions it became clear that while no-one welcomes price rises, they are inevitable in the modern game and accepted as such. As a club we remain committed to providing our fans with guaranteed access to the Premier League at an affordable price and in contrast to many other top-flight clubs we are still one of the most competitive. But
this year we wanted something different, we wanted to repay the loyalty
of our fanbase and that has led to the introduction of the two-week
price freeze. We have also been mindful of the important and crucial
part youth plays at Everton and feel our freeze on junior tickets is
testament to our ongoing commitment and strategy to mould the Evertonians
of the future. Everton value the support of all Evertonians and have
continually stressed that the single biggest way of helping the club
is with the purchase of a season ticket. This year we are also accepting
new season ticket applications during the renewal period and the message
to all current season ticket holders is to renew early to avoid the
possibility of losing your seat." WHAT DO YOU THINK? e-mail info@bluekipper.com Jogger's Snapshots | Young Toffees | Sting Ray | Sausage's Sandwiches Cod Pieces | Captain Haddock | Look-A-Likes | Tomorrow's Chip Papers Top Toffee Ale 'ouses| Home |
