Blue
Kipper & Everton's 1st Trophy of the Season.
So
to the finals. We had won a nights stay in the smoke, plus ANOTHER day
on the ale at The London Sports Cafe in The Haymarket. Free Smirnoff
Ice & the New Smirnoff Black Ice. Plus the referees would be TV
soccer babes, Helen Chamberlain & Kirsty Gallacher. What more do
you want. We had to get some practice in, so we travelled down by train
the day before, & had a good session, while playing pass the pigs
& pictionary. We got to London around 8.30pm, ditched our bags in
the hotel, & then straight out to Soho for a night on the pop. This
was to be Lard's trump card. We learned that the rest of the players
were tucked up in bed with a Horlicks by ten bells.
The next day we had to be at the Sports Cafe by
11.00am. Big problem, as we all had big heads. There was a big incentive.
Free ale. We got there just in time for Lard to have a couple of Smirnoff
Black Ice. It certainly did the trick. He played out of his skin. He
beat every team. Anyway he got the cup. Is this just the start of Everton
winning silver? Below are more photos of the action, & a few with
the Babes. Thanks again to all at Smirnoff, especially Helen & Elaine
for the goodie bags, & the hospitality. Call Y'self an Evertonian?
