Tower In France

I found our tower in a small place called Auxonne in Burgundy, France. Someone stuck it on to the edge of a road traffic bridge.
I climbed up for a gander much to the amusement of the locals. My City fan mate Geoff took the picture which is why it is shite.

Summer holiday in Portugal 2005

Season ticket holders Paul and Rachel Martin just had to stop off at this cafe in Albufeira Town! (13/09/05)

Berlin Wall

Found this whilst trawling the Berlin Wall. Would look good on your site.

Love the site.

Houston Texas

Obviously we were working hard in Houston !! Anyway, one night in the hotel bar in Houston (the Crown Plaza), I was having a little discussion on the positive attributes of being a true blue and the fact that we were getting a champions league place, with, of all people, wait for it - a red shite called Andy - fairly intelligent red shite actually - as he seemed to be able to talk some sort of English (and bought me a beer). In the background the extremely friendly barman's ears were flapping and he invited himself into the conversation.

Anyway, this Texan with obvious Latino blood went off on one, to my
amazement on our side - red shite this, red shite that etc. We found out that due to the excellent football and great personalities of the
Everton squad during their tour of "yankland", (and maybe because they tipped him well when he was working and they were enjoying),

Johnny the bar man, was a true blue.
He told me the whole story of their stay (nothing too embarrassing of
course) and stated that he was kindly given his "pride and joy" - an Everton shirt. (This part to be honest I could not believe - I have been to many matches and had many drinks, but never received a shirt from the team).

The next day, surprisingly, we were in the bar again and low and behold, Johnny the bar man comes in with a dry-clean suit bag, stands in front of me, unzips it - and there it was......

Romeo! Romeo!

We Evertonians come in all sorts of disguises but whilst in Verona this June I noticed this graffiti written on the entrance to Juliet's house. Yes the Juliet, as in Romeo and Juliet. I reckon we have a smoothy/romantic amongst us. Who said we are rough as a bastard file?? Kenny Evans. (25/08/05)

Caravans in Victoria

The attachment shows my souvenir from a campsite at the village of Everton, in the 'Ned Kelly' country of Victoria, Australia.

It is a sleeve that wraps around a polystyrene holder which insulates an ice-cold beer can and prevents it from freezing (or being warmed up by) the palm of the hand that holds it! The Ovens is a local river, in case you're wondering what the warning printed on the can-holder sleeve refers to. Keith, York

Everton Sugar

Spent my holiday in Sardinia, Italy, this summer, and discovered this magnificent little bag of sugar, when stopping for a coup of coffee at a tiny little street restaurant........ Definitely my favorite brand of sugar!

These were on display outside a cycle shop in Slagelse, Denmark.

It's a shame about the maroon letter 'O'. (I can't help thinking the manufacturer's marketing people have missed a trick there!) Keith. (06/08/05)

Slagelse, Denmark

Here are a few more, also outside that shop in Slagelse, Denmark. Keith

Bottle of Your Finest

Though I'd send you these pictures of a bottle of wine that I bought a few years ago at NotSuchi in Fleet Street, Liverpool. The proprietor is apperently an Everton fan. I'm sure you'll add them to your Cod Pieces page.

Regards, Blueroly (06/08/05)
