The Everton Conservancy Everton
lies just behind Kloof to the North. Everton is a "Conservancy"
of awesome natural beauty, with a stunning gorge and the Molweni River
running though it. It has sub-tropical forests and abounds in natural
flora and fauna. A tranquil environment, away from the humidity of the
coastal area yet still within easy commuting distance of the centre
of Durban, South Africa. Pavel Kirillov, Moscow, Russia. (17/11/05) |

There are two names on the lorry and I think it could be some kind of memorial, anyone know?

Farsø, Denmark During a Carlsberg/Tuborg-free holiday in Denmark recently (yes, if it can be avoided there it can be avoided anywhere – Denmark has other breweries) I passed through Per Krøldrup's hometown, Farsø (pronounced Farsur). It is near the Limfjorden in northern Jutland, between Aalborg and Viborg.
|
According to an official of the town’s
football club, Per sometimes played as a forward in his early days.
From Farsø he joined a club in Aalborg, then Copenhagen '93 before
Udinese. The town is proud of his achievements and the Farsø
club will receive a slice of the fee from his transfer to Everton.
Therefore Per is probably already accustomed to the kind of neighbours many Evertonians have to contend with! Keith. (22/10/05) |

| FOREVERTON FARMS
I was visiting my brother in the state of Washington and came across a horse farm called FOREVERTON FARMS on a little road on the way to Mount Baker. We stopped for a few photies and met the nice owners. I jokingly asked them if they were Evertonians (thinking there was no chance as they were probably Yanks). >>>
|
It turns out that they are from Manchester and are United and City fans. Why the name of the farm? Their surname is none other than "Everton". I can't help but notice the similarity between our current team and their farm...both have got a load of cart horses and donkeys, and both are lacking in at"tack". Kenny Myers. (22/10/05) |
