In Paris,
Les Halles metro station, these signs stood out this year unlike previous
visits when I've just stood on the escalator and been carried underneath
them. This year I was driven to take photos of them. |

when we set off on the saturday ,the day before the blues played Celtic
,we got to glasgow in plenty of time so decided to take a game in ,We ended
up taking in the renfrewshire cup Final Greenock Morton v ST MirrenWalking
towards the ground proudly sporting our Everton Polo shirts we entered the
ground ,and preceded to ask the steward "a mate any chance of watching
the game without climbing stairs he`s on crutches" !We were greeted
with such hospitality ,and escorted us straight to the dug out of ST Mirren
,where we were also greeted by the whole squad smiling and nudging each
other , All we said was, we were a pair of scousers they must of thought we were a pair of scouts . O well what a day we had, they might of thought we where their for the big man. Alfie Hincks. (13/10/06) |
