Blue Bill Just thought
I would let you know, in the London version of the Metro this morning,
Blue Bill was shown fighting off a Billie piper fan, this photo is different
from the ones in the paper but you can see him at the back. Busy finding
investors then Bill? Chris Evans was there he's got a few quid? Chris

Rod Welford MEP This is Rod Welford – a politician from Brisbane, Oz Definitely has the best constituency in the city! Sounds like a good bloke as well ! Toffees of the World Unite!! Dear Quintin. Happy New Year and what a delight to hear from someone from such a beautiful place as the Isle of Man. I haven't managed to visit there on any of my UK sojourns to date but I am aware from various images I've seen on TV and books how picturesque the your Isle is. I take it you have my details an parliamentary history from the Parliament of Queensland website so I won't repeat those details. I am what you might call a casual rather than rabid soccer follower but I have been delighted to hear of the success of Everton FC in recent times. My brother in law lives here in Brisbane and he's definitely a rabid fan ... only it's Liverpool FC. He recently went to the World Cup in Germany. Everton
electorate is a green and hilly suburban area of north-western Brisbane
city, approximately 15 minutes drive from the city centre. It takes in
several suburbs in fact, two of which are named Everton Park and Everton
Hills. I live in Everton Park not far from the central shopping precinct.
Just down the road at the Shopping Centre is my electorate office. It
is conveniently (from a public exposure viewpoint) located at a T-intersection
of two major roads, Stafford Road and South Pine Road. Attached is a pic
of my shopfront. Audacious I know! .... in fact I was the first pollie
in Queensland to put a billboard up. Some say it is the equivalent of
a poster of Mao overlooking Red Square!! Pity they allowed a pay-tv operater
to run its wires in front of it! Oh .. and by the way ... it's lit up
by a spotlight until midnight each night. Shameless. Ha! All the best

New York U.S.A. I just opened a bar in Greenwich Village, Manhattan and a fellow blue who was on holidays was in one night... As a huge fan of your site I couldn't resist the chance to get a pic of his tattoo beside our logo and would love to see it on your site... I am originally from Dublin and attended one of your dinners at the Red Cow Inn a couple of years ago!!! John Wheatland is the name of the dude with the tat!!!! Australia Just come
back from holiday in Australia - found an interesting bottle of red
wine in Manley by Brown Brothers not sure if its available in the UK
- if not it should be!!!!- the wine didn't survive the journey but a
photo of the label did. Apart from it being a red, it was smooth as
silk, just like the Blues. |
