I'm Gwlad I
didn't buy this...
There's
a joker called "soccerprint" on eBay trying to flog
a load of street sign t-shirts to football fans, check out his
Everton one for a laugh:
He obviously never lived on Spell-ow Lane.
Cheers,
Ian Stuart.

with the
Hamilton T-Shirts on played Z Cars through their loadhailer...putting
smiles on the faces of me and my fellow Evertonian mate!! Cheers
fellas, great site! Paul and Phil. (03/06/08)

Cahill
- Trippin On You
We’ve
made a tune called Trippin On You – the artist is called Cahill
and it's named after Tim, our favourite player, he loves the
track and it's on radio 1, the box, mtv, etc etc. We actually
managed to get the track played at anfield at half time during
one of there games which caused murder apparently! It's out
to buy on I-tunes now only 79p!
and is currently 37 in the mid week chart, if you could give
it a mention it would be very much appreciated ! Thanks
Anton. (19/05/08)

Leon
Seeing
as Leon's in the news I thought it was time to fill in some
of the background on our own Turkish destroyer.
Over here in Turkey the name Osman is as common as Robert(s)
or Richard(s) - common first name used as Surname. And just
like Robert the Bruce and Richard the Lion Heart, the first
Osman was something of a hero, growing the family farm into
what would eventually become the biggest land based empire
the world has ever seen.
The Ottoman (English mis-spelling of Osman. Frank Bough wasn't
a one off. ) Empire spanned three continents - from Algeria
in NW Africa through Egypt and the Arab Peninsula and round
into Europe as far as Vienna. It lasted 623 years and was
responsible for introducing Europe to (among other marvels)
coffee, mohair, oil of bergamot and inoculating kids against
smallpox, but curiously not the padded footstools known as
Ottomans, which actually came from France .
And as you can see from the attached pic, the first Osman
was clearly a blue down to the proto umbro logo visible on
his kit and what future historians would learn to refer to
as a 'Big Bob Latchford' growth of facial hair. Although thankfully
he's had the consideration to cover up the bubble perm. David
O'Byrne. (07/05/08)
