Shopping @ Everton, St. Raphael, France

Had to send you this picture of a cheapo clothes shop in St Raphael in southern France. Owners were quite bemused by the fact that regardless of the beautiful surroundings, I was having my picture taken in front of their shop!

Mike Bennett. (08/04/02)

Where's Mark?

Thanks to all the fans, too many to name, for spotting the guy in the background of the photo of Gazza welcoming new signing Lee Carsley. For those of you who can't spot him. He is the fella at the back with the same swimming hat as Carsley!!! His Name is Mark Watkinson (06/04/02)

Toffees at the Test Match

Phil & Blagger @ the Test Match

Still looking for the identity of the Evertonians displaying the flag at the Cricket Tests in New Zealand? They are Phil Ryder and Peter ('Blagger') Blennarhassett from Huyton. I caught up with them as they were taking down their flag at the end of the final Test in Auckland yesterday. The flag had been carried through India prior to the English teams arrival in New Zealand and the guys told me they get to the grounds at 8.30am in order to ensure a prime position for their flag! Peter was heading back to Merseyside today but Phil is following the English team to Australia so he can continue to display the flag at the upcoming Soccer World Cup.

Congratulations to all the team at Bluekipper - its a great site.

Regards Dave Barker. Auckland New Zealand. (04/04/02)

TWO Everton Captains at Derby???

I know this is Unsy's testimonial year but if you believe Reuters, it seems he's taking it a bit far by bringing his own captain's armband and old shirt to matches these days!?!?

Check out reuters & their photo of "Everton captain David Unsworth...scored the first goal against Derby in their 4-3 victory."

BTW, great site - keep up the good work!

Toffees in New Zealand

As the guy on the mike said on Saturday "we are the biggest and best club in the world" (Super David Moyes must of got his hand on him by the way 'cos he is getting the fans right up for it these days he's top), and we do have fans all over the world. Not that I am a cricket boffin but a noticed on a clip on Sky Sports News (that's top as well) that in the 4th day of the 3rd test between New Zealand and England "the toffee men are there" and are showing The Redshite that we have true fans all over the Globe by holding up an Everton flag.

Nice one fellas. Call yourself 'an Evertonian, Chipolata. (02/04/02)

John Peel - Turncoat.

Dunno if anyone has mentioned this yet, but there was a great bit on monday's Room 101 where they made redshite John Peel put on a Toffees shirt!!! What a turncoat bastard!!! Even better - it had superkev's number on the back. That John Peel - he knows a good thing when he sees it! Jon Dexter. (21/03/02)

Toffees at The Test Match

A huge Blue Everton flag has been spotted at The England Cricket Match against New Zealand. The match played in Christchurch is being beamed around the world on various TV Channels. Here in Britain you can see it on Sky TV. The flag can be seen all the game as the flag is positioned right behind the bowlers arm. If anyone knows who owns the flag, get in touch, & we will give them a mention. (17/03/02)

Davie Weir's Belly

Davie Weir - A tit for a belly button

I've just been poking around the official Everton site, and was astonished to see this attached picture of our good friend Davy Weir with a tit for a belly button.
Have you any explanation for this? Cheers. George. (06/03/02)

Walter Smith in 'The Day Today'

Hello fellow Toffeemen, you beautiful, beautiful people, you! What a site! I'm still a somewhat virginal Blue Kipperer but I've just spent the last, ooh, long while leafing through said site and it's a beauty! Me mate Si 'Ace' Caton, season ticketer and no relation to Tommy, told me about The Kipper. Nice one Pieman!

Anyway, I was watching 'The Day Today' the other day for about the fiftieth time when me mate Lisa 'No Relation To Emlyn Thank Christ' Hughes, a fellow or whatever a female fellow is Toffee, pointed something out that I'd not noticed before. During Alan Partridge's boxing commentary, in which he mentions having 'witnessed bare-knuckled boxing in a barn in Somerset about three years ago, two men fighting naked as the day they were born', and so on, Walter Smith can clearly be seen in the crowd behind the ring.

Right, bedtime. Keep up the fine work! Jim Jam Jim Jim Jeroo etc. Jamie O'Keeffe. (04/10/01)

EXCLUSIVE- Shaka Takes A Bribe - EXCLUSIVE

We held a company football tournament recently and I invited Shaka Hislop as guest of honour to present the prizes. As you can see from the photo we struck a deal Happy to say that Shaka is a man of his word. Top bloke. All the best - great site. Alan Miller. (01/10/01)

Blue Kipper investigators have been working with Scotland Yard, to find out the truth. In a statement Shaka said " If it wasn't for me it would have been 10." A confession then?

Shaka Hislop & Alan Miller

Abel Xavier

It's a Piece of Cake

Someone close to Jogger at Ewood Park on Saturday said that Abel Xavier looked like a piece of Battenburg cake in the new salmon pink strip. This got us thinking . What food, sweet or drink does anyone at Everton remind you of ?

Any ideas, let us know info@bluekipper.com

What's Going on?

Captain Campbell & Davie Weir celebrate against the shite.

As we approach the 'Derby' on Saturday, we are grateful to Paul B Watson, who sits in the Top Balcony, for pointing out that it appears to say 'HELP' on the back of Davie Weir's shirt, pictured above after Super Kev had scored against the redshite. (11/09/01)

Blue Toddler puts boot in on FA Cup - Sunday People, 2nd September 2001 p23

A granddad redshite fan apparently took his granddaughter to Shamfield to be pictured with this years lucky FA Cup. The toddler, Eleanor Mallon had been decked out in her Everton kit by her Toffee Dad and surprised Granps when he called to pick her up, unabated he took the little beauty to the smelly side of Stanley Park to be photographed with the famous trophy. As Granps held Eleanor between the trophy and himself ready to be snapped, the Toffette kicked out, the trophy fell from his hands and crashed to the floor reputedly causing £350 worth of damage. Chaos ensued as the redshite attempted to find a silversmith to embark on the repair , a spokesman said, 'it is so long since we won a trophy we had lost touch with the local tradesmen'. Blue Kipper says 'Well Done young Eleanor' (04/09/01)

Blair signs for Walter

Walter Smith unveiled his first Summer signing yesterday, when Geordie, Tony Blair met the press at Goodison Park. Smith sees the signing of Blair as a straight replacement for veteran captain, Richard Gough, who has just retired. Blair said: "People say I'm a manufactured leader, but I am here to show the good people of Everton, that I AM HERE TO STAY, and I fully intend to see out the full four year term".

Walter said "We have been lacking a leader since Goughie left, and Tony will fill that gap. The spending won't stop here. It is a big job & there will be more money pumped into the club." Walter refused to comment on the future of Stephen Hughes, whose shirt, Blair has stolen. (05/06/01)

Fowler is STILL an Evertonian

First thanks for the great site, I am an exiled Evertonian from Walton now living in Chicago, actually the Man City game was live over here so it was good to see us win, my brother played in a pre game 5 a-side match for his work team and they won 2-1 and Graeme Sharp congratulated them at the end so a good day all round, couldn't help noticing Smack 'ed Fowler right at the front of the Street End in an Everton shirt hands raised as Bally misses the Penatly. Keep up the good work Lads and thanks again.
Terry Walsh. Walton/Chicago. (28/04/01)

Toffees in Albania

We all must have seen the EVERTON flag at the England match on wednesday in Albania ( at least 10 times ). I also spotted a flag with "cockneys" on it so there was some RED SHITE there too! Keep up the great work, i visit every night and spread the word to fellow BLUES wherever i go. later...Graham Martin ( season ticket-paddock ) (31/03/01)

Toffees at the Test Match

Spotted this morning 08.00 hours 8th March a superb EVERTON banner at the 2nd Test match between Sri Lanka and England. Since then it has been at the game every day. If anyone knows who are the Toffee men in Sri Lanka, email Blue Kipper & we will give them a mention. Just goes to show Evertonians get all over the world spreading the gospel. Thanks to Craig Parry, Blue Paul, Billy, & Aussie Tom for spotting this (08/03/01)

BLUE KIPPER in ' TOTAL FOOTBALL '

This site has been reviewed in the National magazine 'Total Football'. In the February edition, they give us 3 stars. They say 'their motto seems to be, 'always judge a book by it's cover if you can have a bit of a laugh doing it'. The upside - It's like finding Gerry Sadowitz at a Liberal Democrats meeting. Who the fuck does he play for? (30/01/01)

Total Football

In last months 'Total Football' magazine, besides an interview with Franny Jeffers, they had an article on
"The World's 100 Greatest Strikers." Marco Van Basten was No.1. Pele was No.2. The first English striker was our own 'Dixie Dean,' who came in at No.7.(although he should have won it). Gary Lineker is No.18.because of his exploits at Everton. Would you believe it not a redshite to be seen. (05/01/01)

Dream Team

In Dream Team (sky 1) there is a picture in the reception of our very own Mark Pembridge snapping Ginola even though his shirt has been changed into a Harchester one. Sean. (01/01/01)

Old Neighbours

This is a bit of a dated third eye now, but worth a mention. If anyone has got any old episodes of neighbours check it out before lou in neighbours got his pub done up to what it is now. He used to have sports memorabilia behind the bar. One of which my eagle eye picked out, was a photo of Graham Stuart ,Daniel Amokachi and PaulRideout with the FA cup, 1995. Very weird. David Gonzalez. (23/12/00)

Torquay for Christmas

On the bevvy in Torquay recently, I visited the bogs in the Hole in the Wall pub. To my surprise there in full glory was a colour picture of Dunc on the notice board above the pisser. Closer inspection showed it was the latest copy of the Evertonian pinned up to educate the Woolies. Well done to Dave the landlord a true Evertonian. Mick (18/12/00)

Who wants to be a Millionaire?

Everton supporter, Andy Martin has just won £250,000 on 'Who wants to be a Millionaire'. He is worth a million in our eyes as told Chris Tarrant if he won the million he would use the cash to bring down the redshite. He got a bit of help from 'little Billy', when he phoned a friend Billy Bleasdale, who he described as a good blue. Well done Andy! Call Y'self an Evertonian? (11/11/00)

Spotted fluttering in the breeze on a yatch in 'The Times around the world race', was the Royal Blue Everton flag. If any one knows who is on the clipper, e-mail Blue Kipper & we'll give them a mention.(15/10/00)

It came to pass that an irate redshite supporter (is there any other type?), phoned a local radio station to complain about a Top Toffee security guard at the well stocked Toffee shop,(sometimes called Megastore). His crime was to let a nice young girl in a lovely Everton shirt, continue looking at the great range of goods, but to boot out the daughter of the above mentioned redshite moaning minnie, because she was wearing a nasty redshite top.
Blue Kipper says:

1. Stop yer moaning. Why did you bring your daughter up to visit the place. No daughter of an Evertonian would dare think about entering your pathetic shop.
2. This security guard should be promoted to sergeant major, immediately, and be put in charge of keeping all redshite fans out of Goodison at the Derby match. Congratulations ! You are indeed a Top Toffee Security Guard.

Julia sawhala, the aussie barmaid drinking from an Everton mug in "Time Gentlemen Please"on sky one .It was in the shot about three times in 2mins.Thanks to the 3 e-mails from 1)John & Nikki,2)Kevin 3)Blue Bob (10/10/00)

Alan Ball in his Everton kit from the 1970's, is featured in the new Superdrug advert. Thanks to all 5 of you out there, who e-mailed Blue Kipper. Keep them coming.

Toffees at the Olympics: As well as the well known injured high jumper, Steve Smith, there are a few more Evertonians in Sydney. While the rest of the world were watching Denise Lewis do her lap of honour, we spotted a Union Jack in the crowd with the words 'EVERTON' on it. If anyone knows the owners of the flag e-mail Blue Kipper and we will give them a mention. (26/09/00)

Shity Ground: One of the welders working on the redshite ground, has welded onto the girders "E.F.C.2000." The top Toffee who can't be named for legal reasons told bluekipper.com that " the stand had fallen 4 inches, which in construction terms is fuckin' huge." Obviously still a shity ground.

Kopites are Gobshites: 5000 of the lovely redshite gold & blue,( yes I love it, fuckin' navy blue) away shirts have been sent to kopites around the country. Not one, not a single one was addressed to a merseyside home. Thanks to the posties at Copperas Hill sorting office for the info.(15/08/00)

'ave some of that yer cockney manc
JOE PUTS HIM ON HIS ARSE. HE'S MOANING AS HE GOES DOWN!!

Dixie & The Argos Catalogue: It's only been out a day, and already we know that Dixie has been moved to page 367 in the new winter 2000 edition.(14/08/00)
A really Bad Twitch: I don't know if anyone has noticed yet ,but if you saw Arsenals great victory last night, Hamman one of the red SHITE'S popular Crout has got a really BAD twitch. He looks like Herbert Lom when he was going crazy in the Pink Panther or that tart in the old American comedy Bewitched who used to wiggle her nose when she was going to do some magic. Jogger. (22/08/00).
The Evertonian: Congratulations to the "Evertonian." In their July 2000 issue, the back cover shows Everton's fixture list for the coming season. Around the edge of the neatly laid out page, are the badges of all the Premiership teams except the one for the Red Shite. Once again , Well Done. (01/08/00)

Dixie & The Argos Catalogue: Thanks to several "3rd Eye" Evertonians for pointing out the picture of one William Ralph Dean on page 199 of the Summer 2000 edition of the 'Argos' catalogue. This is the type of "3rd Eye" stuff we are after. If you spot anything remotely similar, e-mail bluekipper.com (06/08/00)
