Orry's Cafe
Bar (nominated by Dave Lupton) 'Orry's is probably the best ale'ouse, they play ' Z Cars ' about 20 minutes before kick off so you can neck the rest of your pint and head to the ground.... I've seen Chris Fenlon there sippin' wine and soda's.' (Dave Lupton 23/08/00) |
The name is simply 'Orry's', unless you are a ponce and wish to use the full title, 'Orry's Cafe Bar'. This venue has, in the past, been a longstanding haunt of the Blue Kipper crew, a classy joint which on matchdays quickly fills up with wall to wall Blues, the bouncers on the door ensure that the place is restricted to standing room only while Top Toffee tunes blast out of the sound system as kick off approaches. |
When you have sampled the Orry's experience (particularly on 'Derby' day) it's one you'll never forget and you'll wonder why he is a red neck, but will forgive him, only just, for being from across the Park. |
You are guaranteed these tunes on every visit. A top place full of Dads, lads, Grandads and families who are all true blues. |

TV's all around the shop, you are talkin' a shed full (although there isn't one in the bog), with a BIG screen in the back corner. Can't hear a thing, 'cause it's fuckin' chocka, but you can see the latest news from Sky! The music is sound, with Top Toffee tunes, 'Altogether Now', 'Z Cars' etc cutting in, loud, on regular occasions. |

Behind the bar there is top totty, who are lightning fast at serving,if you think they are slow, well remember they are well worth looking at for a while, so wait your hurry. If anyone asks where you've been before the game, you can say Orry's for some credibility, even if we've lost!!
