World Cup Final. What
a guy! No not Ronaldo for robbing cock sure shite herman, but Richie
'the flag' Harrison, who yet again took pride of place, with the
whole world watching. The Flag was again on the half way line for
all the world to see. This has been Public Relations at it's best.
Well in, Richie. You have put Everton on the map again. |

Once again Richie's Flag has taken
the honours at the Semi-Final between Brazil v Turkey. He had John
Motson talking about it on BBC 1, & Alan Green the commentator
on Radio 5 Live, said he thought there must be a family of them,
as one man couldn't be at that many matches. Well Alan you obviously
don't know much about Evertonians. |

The England players may not have
been good enough for Brazil, but the Evertonians out in the Far
East were stars of the show. Richie Harrison & the Hale Bank
Everton Flag was joined by a huge St. George with Everton FC plastered
on it. The lads name is 'Cush'. Click here to see
Full Size Flag. Well done to all the Evertonians with Flags
at the World Cup. The fans are doing their bit in keeping the Clubs
name in the forefront of World Football. |

Joe '100 Caps, but still couldn't
hit a cow's arse with a barn door' Max Moore, is out of the World
Cup. Even though USA are playing the Germans in the quarters,
Joe won't figure. Nothings changed there then. The excuse has.
He's got a niggling knee injury.
Joe says: "At my
age I don't expect to be around the squad in four more years,
so the Poland game was almost certainly my last in World Cup finals.
The tournament has been great, we have done so well and done everyone
proud. I know I have only figured a couple of times as substitute,
but this has been a wonderful experience." |

Tommy reckons his good form in the World Cup, will help him when
he gets back to Goodison. He thinks most foreign players need at
least a season to settle in before they start to produce the business.
Tommy says: "I hope that's the case for me and I hope
our team gets better and better too. We want to get higher up the
table where we should be. I don't think anyone's seen the best of
Thomas Gravesen in this World Cup, I hope there's even more to come
from me next season and, of course, that will be as an Everton player."
On the England game Tommy says: "The only difference
between the two team was the timing of the goals. I think England
had some luck on their side. We knew it was going to be a big task
to beat England and we're sorry we couldn't do it. We showed we
could play alongside England and give them a game. The only thing
we couldn't match was the goals they scored. I would give away any
good performance I may have given myself to have gone further in
the competition. When you lose 3-0 it's hard to look at yourself
and think you've played well. If we could have just scored one goal
it would have been crucial for us, but we just couldn't get it.
But I take away some great memories of the World Cup, especially
having beaten France. We have a young team here now and we're prepared
to start something new."

So Joe Max is the only Toffeeman
still involved in the World Cup. Even though he wasn't picked the
Yanks produced another shock when they defeated Mexico 2-0 in the
second phase. We hope his team can go one better and beat the Germans
in the quaters and get to the semis where they may play England
or Brazil. Good Luck Joe.

At the England victory over Denmark,
the Everton Flags were on show for the World to see. Richie's Flag,
the Toffee Hammers & The Hale Bank Flag have helped keep the
clubs profile high as a kite amongst the fans. Director's take note! |

Well
there is only Joe Max Moore left in the World Cup after unlucky
Irish went out on penaltys against Spain. Our own Harry Hill didn't
get on the pitch and had to suffer watching the Irish lads lose
in the first penalty shoot out in the competition.
Joe
Max hopes to start for the Yanks in tomorrrows game against Mexico. |

Toby
and Saint Nic went through the agony of losing to Senegal by a
goalden goal. Toby played the full game while Nic was subbed after
76 minutes.
Toby
produced another steady perfomance in the midfield holing role. You
can see he will become an asset for Everton next season. |

Tommy
crashed out of the World Cup after England beat Denmark. Tommy
was without question Denmarks best player and if he is still at
Goodison next season and he produces that kind of display on a
regular basis you won't hear too many complaints from the Goodison
faithful.
Two
interesting notes from yesterdays game. Was the ref wearing a
black bra? And did everybody notice that Robbie Fowler ran to
Tommy after the game to swap shirts. Does this mean they will
be playing together next season? |

Joe-Max makes it Five out of Five
Joe
Max helped the Yanks to a 3-1 defeat by Poland that ensured their
place in the 2nd phase of the World Cup. Because South Korea decided
to beat Portugal 1-0 in the other match in that group, it left
USA in the runners-up spot. Pepsi completed another milestone
today, he won his 100th cap. Well done Joe

Tommy is confident of beating England
tomorrow.(See you all in The Blach Horse).
Tommy says: "In my opinion England is a super-power
and they are natural favourites. It is thrilling for us to be playing
a country with this tradition in the World Cup. However, after knocking
out France we have a strong belief in our own potential and think
that - on a good day - are able to beat England too. Much will depend
on the form of the day. Of course it is a further incitement to
be playing against the players I meet so many times during the Premier
League season. And I would love to show our fans at Everton what
stuff we are made of in Denmark."

Richie &
the boys have been adding to their air miles again. The were at
the Ireland v Saudi game, were the flag could be seen its usual
place by the half way line. Then it was off to watch the England
v Nigeria game, but this time the flag was behind the goal. It was
the one Becks was trying to hit with his free kicks. Sven has asked
the boys to keep it on the side in future games. Then apparently
the boys were seen on 'News at 10', singing in the background as
he was making his report. Well in, boys. |

Toby & Nic go through as well
Toby
and Saint Nic make it FOUR Toffeemen through to the next phase
of the World Cup and in the process knocked out the loveable Argys.
Both of our men played the full 90 in a 1-1 draw leaving the Batagoal
and company doing Sooty impressions. Bye, bye everybody bye bye.
It
just needs Pepsi to help the Yanks get a point against the Poles
on Friday it make all of our Toffeemen into the 2nd Phase. They
should have no problem the Poles have one shite goalie. Good Luck

Tommy & Lee Progress to 2nd Stage
Tommy
Gravesen & Lee Carsley both progressed to the second phase
of the World Cup today with their national sides. Tommy was once
again a candidate for Star Man making the second goal in Denmark's
2 - 0 win over France he put another £2 mill on his valuation
and the Everton directors will be rubbing their hands once again.
Harry Hill plucked the splinters from his arse and got off the
bench for the first time in Eire's 3 - 0 win over Saudi Arabia
- even if it was only for the last 2 minutes!
So
if as expected Toby & Saint Nic progress with Sweden tomorrow
and Joe-Max progresses with the USA on Friday then every Toffeeman
will be in the 2nd Round of the World Cup now how many Premiership
clubs will be able to boast that? Come on you Blues!! |

We recieved this e-mail today from Hiro,
a Japanese Evertonian.
I'm
Japanese Evertonian. My name is Hirokazu Kobayashi, 26 years old.
Everton is not known to Japanese, inspite of having history and
glory. Before I found your site, to get infomation about Everton
is too hard. Now I check your site everyday and get rumour and
updated news. I couldn't watch much Everton's game on sattellite,
because there are many Man U games and Reds games. Boooooooo!!!!!!!
By
the way, in many Worldcup games I saw Evertons flag. Did Richie
Harrison put up that flag? Yesterday he put up that flag in the
game, Japan vs Russia. I live in Saitama city, near Saitama stadium
2002 where held the game,England vs Sweden, and will hold semi
final game.So
we give England supporters a warm welcome by putting up England
flag.
It takes 15 minitus from Saitama studium 2002 to my house. I want
to contact him. If you don't mind, please fowerd this mail for
him.
If he will come semi final mutch at Saitama,I want to see him.
And I want to take a picture with him and his flag. If he doesn't
reserve his hotel in Saitama,I welcome to my house. And if he
has many worldcup ticket, I want to buy his ticket.
The
images are I and my fiance. I like Big Dunc because he is very
strong in dog fight! His stayle of play is dynamic!! Call Y'self
an Evertonian? Yes, of course!!!!! Cheers. Hiro.
We've
forwarded this on to Richie. |
Left,
Hiro with his Everton Shirt, & right his fiance. |

Joe Max 'couldn't hit a barn door
with a banjo' Moore was sub for the USA in their game against host
nation South Korea. The game ended 1-1. He never got on. So Joe will
have to wait to collect his 100th cap. |

At the Japan v Russia game, the
two flags were on display again. They must have done more air miles
than Trevor Sinclair. Well in Richie, Ste, & all the Evertonians
out in Japan & South Korea. |

A couple of Moyesy's transfer targets played today. Delron Buckley
came on in the second half for South Africa in their 1-0 win over
a crap Slovenia. He had a few chances, & looked like a Blomqvist
type player. So that could be the end of him. Stipe Pletikosa
kept goal for Crotia in their 2-1 win over with Italy. He started
well with a few easy takes, made a few good saves. Had no chance
with the goal, but did well to leave Totti's freekick. In the same
game, a certain Marco Materazzi had a nightmare game for
Italy. He was at fault for both goals.
Li Tei played against Brazil. He looked like a kid off the
park. Lots of effort, but not very good. Maybe lots of effort is
an improovement for us. After all it was Brazil. s |

Flag Watch: The flags were
out in force at the England v Argentina game. Richie's flag (pictured
right) took pride of place just by the half way line. Just to the
right of this was a St. George's Cross with "EVERTON - HALE
BANK" printed on it. Plus there was another flag at the left
hand goal, which could be seen at corners. If anyone knows who the
the flag belongs to, get in touch & we'll give them a mention.

Toby & Saint Nic played the
full game in Sweden's 2-1 win over Nigeria, which could take them
through to the next stage. They both had steady games. Toby again
was very busy, which is why he's having a rest in this photo.
Nic was his usual self. played
a few crosses in. One over the bar. One in the stands, & one
to his centre forward.

Christian Poulsen replaced Tommy Gravesen, after 58mins
in Denmark's 1-1 draw with Senegal. Tommy was lively, had a couple
of shots, was his usual busy self, but did look tired when he was
replaced.

Word has
reached Richie Harrison in the Far East, that we have mentioned
him on the site. Richie e-mailed Blue Kipper today.
Richie says: "Hello it's Richie here on me mate's lap
top. Just ruturned from Germany v Ireland. hope you saw the flag
on half way line. I was told by other bluenoses who arrived today
about the mention on Blue Kipper. Details are correct, the flag
is mine. Thanks for the mention. I'm a very proud blue. I will
be at Sapporo with the flag plus a friend Ste Cav. His flag is
a St George Cross with toffee hammers & EFC crest on it."
The power of the Internet!
Thanks again for all your e-mails telling ue about Richie's Flag
being at the Ireland v Germany game. See
