To School
While his Everton team mates have been getting
in a sweat at Bellefield, Tim phoned his former school up in Australia
and asked if he could come and have a kick around with the local
school kids.
The
man who has put soccer on the map in Oz was welcomed by 600 children
and parents some with his name painted on their faces, asking
for autographs, chanting his name.
Tim
says: "It was great to come back and spend time
with the people who made this possible. "
Tim's
principal, Mr Meacham says "I
knew there was a Tim Cahill involved with the Socceroos, and we
… traced it back and found a photo of him in year 5. For him to
initiate the visit was just tremendous. He was really gracious
and humble, just such a great ambassador for the game."

Starstruck
Referees
Tim Cahill
claims World Cup referees are "starstruck" by high-profile
teams and has described the number of officiating mistakes as
a "disaster".
Tim
says: "A lot of what I really want to say I would
probably get in trouble and be fined and banned for a couple of
months. Every single game we didn't get anything. There's nothing
we can do or say to change the issue. I
just can't think how people can make so many mistakes. It's down
to FIFA to look at it. Everyone can plainly see that it's a disaster."

In Dortmund
Just
got back from the from the world cup on tour with a group of 4
Evertonians. Met up with a fair few blues on our travels - big
high to Paul Tandy - hope the wedding went well and thanks for
the photo. The photo is of us enjoying the 'atmosphere' in Dortmund.
If you are looking in Bill a new stadium like the Bayern stadium
in Munich would do us nicely! Fitzi. (02/07/06)

Nuno
Marches On To The Semi's
As
the England players came home following the penalty shoot out
defeat, Portugal's Nuno Valente marched onto the semi-final where
he will play France on Wednesday, 5th July 2006. Everton's first
team squad started pre-season training today, but it looks like
Nuno will be missing from Bellefield for some time yet. Nuno is
pictured right with Becks on his knees. (02/07/06) |

blue. We go to the USA v Ghana game with our Everton shirts on
and cos he's a yank on the back of his is Joe Max-Moore.
After
the game outside the ground we hear a shout "Nice Jersey
man" and turn round to see its non other than big Joe himself!

15th
June 2006 England vs T&T - Corporate do in the Alex Young
Suite. Was going along swimmingly, half time arrives and we
are treated to some match analysis from who? Only Kevin Ratcliffe.
Couldn't believe it - didn't know he was going to be there.
Photo opportunity beckons which Kev obliges - told him he was
a legend - he says thanks then informs me that Graeme Sharp
is at the bar - only my all time EFC hero.
Faster than Ben Johnson on steggers, I am at the bar where the
great one lets me get a photo and shake his hand. Needless to
say I am happier than a pig in s**t - don't really remember
the 2nd half but regained my senses for the stadium tour afterwards.
One of the best nights of my life!!!

| Tunisia
v Saudi Arabia
Here I am with old chums at the Tunisia / Saudi
game. Amazing stadium and a great game.
We were surrounded by crazy Tunisians but they left us well alone
- obviously confused by the fact that Everton,.Tunisia and Saudi
shirts were sitting side-by-side and all had scouse accents!!!
