Good Luck Nuno

Nuno Valente could become the first Everton player since Ray Wilson to appear in a World Cup Final if his Portugal side over come Zinedine Zidane and co tonight in Munich. Nuno is aware of the interest in him back on Merseyside and he is delighted with it. Good luck tonight Nuno, and give that little shit of a team mate of yours Ronaldo a good talking to.

Nuno is also delighted with the new faces who were welcomed to Bellefield on Monday, and made up that some old ones have decided to stay with the Blues. After the World Cup, and a a well deserved break, Nuno will be giving his all to the Blues this coming season.

Nuno says: "I have seen some Everton flags at the matches and it just shows how much love they have for football. Hopefully I can now go one stage further and reach the final because I have been told that only one other Everton player has ever played in a World Cup final.

To become the second from a club with such a great history and tradition would be very special for me. I was very happy to learn that Joseph Yobo has agreed to sign a new contract. I also read that David Weir has signed a new deal and I am pleased that these good players and experienced professionals are committing themselves to Everton.

We have made some very good signings and once the World Cup is over I will be giving my full concentration to Everton and I will really be looking forward to the new season." (05/07/06)

What Its All About

Final

One of Everton's ex centre halves from the Walter Smith era will be appearing in the World Cup Final this Sunday. Marco Matterazzi was simply outstanding last night, as Italy dispatched of Germany 2-0 (AET), in Dortmund. Marco who looked a shadow of his former self, playing with heart, composure, and a lot of belief, puts his elevation to the top of the world game down to David Unsworth.

Marco says: " Its all down to Unsey" (05/07/06)

Notarztwagen

"Notarztwagen" - The German Translation of the Ambulance is "Emergency Ambulance" also could be " Mobile Intensive Care Unit."
