Billy Harvey Clarke

This is a picture of my son Billy Harvey Clarke. He was born on June 30th 2004 while our beloved club was in turmoil. Eight and a half months on I am glad to say that we are back up where we belong. Isobel Matthews

My daughter Isobel, who at 5 years of age has already developed a confident expectation that her “Beloved Blues” will be playing in the Champions League next season, cannot understand why her father is having a nervous breakdown over the very prospect. Oh to be young, full of expectation and to have a healthy disregard for all things red.

It will cost me a fortune, hopefully, to bring her to Europe, but when you see the passion, the fervour and the unshakeable faith in her, all conquering EVERTON, it’s worth it. (I hope and prey about fourth. How times have changed.) Anthony Matthews. (19/04/05)
